Is it Possible to Get Rid of Light Spots From Acne?

Although it is not always possible to get rid of these spots or scars completely sometimes it is possible to diminish them somewhat with various treatments. One such treatment includes a chemical peel. This can sometimes be effective if the scars or spots are light and close to the surface.

A chemical peel is a minor cosmetic surgery procedure in which the top layer of your skin is peeled off taking with it the spots left behind by acne breakouts. If the spots are light and close to the surface this method is generally effective in removing the spots however this method is not recommended for deeper or darker spots or scarring as these will still be under the skin that is removed and a chemical peel cannot removed enough layers to be effective without causing damage to the skin.
