Why Do I have Acne?

There is no answer to the question why do I have acne, it is not something where one person is singled out and another is not. This is a condition that is caused by the over production of oil that will clog the pores when mixed with shedding cells.

Many people have acne due to their genetics, this is a condition that can be hereditary and it is also a condition that can be caused by several other factors and usually will strike people during their teen years. Hormones play a large role in acne and the severity of it can require prescription medication to treat the skin, the pores and the infection that is what acne actually is.

Acne is an infection of the hair follicles when there is an over production of oil and along with cells the clogged pores become inflamed and infected. This is why pimples often come to a head and will be filled with pus.
